Empowering All Bodies Through Gentle Yoga

About Me:
In the journey of life, we often find ourselves facing unexpected challenges that reshape our paths. For me, that pivotal moment came with debilitating spinal cord and vertebral injuries. But within that struggle, I discovered the calming power of yoga and meditation.

My Journey:
Born out of necessity and nurtured by resilience, my yoga journey began as a means of emotional healing and self-discovery in a disabled body. Faced with physical limitations, I embraced a gentler practice with open arms, discovering its remarkable ability to work towards soothing not only my pain but also the spirit.

My Mission:
Today, as a yoga teacher, I am committed to sharing the benefits of gentle yoga and meditation with individuals of all abilities. What I share are not just "poses"; it's offers a sanctuary where bodies of every shape, size, and ability are celebrated and empowered.

What I Offer:
Through personalized guidance and unwavering support, I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where everyone feels welcome. Whether you're navigating a chronic or acute injury, illness, or simply seeking solace in community, our groups are designed to meet you where you are and guide you towards greater resilience and inner peace.

Join Me:
Together, let us embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and transformation. No matter where you are in your yoga journey, know that you are worthy, you are capable, and you are enough.

Viniyoga Based Practice

Viniyoga is a personalized approach to yoga that adapts practices to individual needs. It emphasizes the connection between breath and movement, using mindful sequencing while preventing injury. This approach promotes overall wellness, mindfulness, and self-awareness both on and off the mat.

Power of Sankalpa/ Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra lasts 60 minutes. Yoga Nidra is a sleep based, guided meditation technique that reduces your brain wave state. When your awareness is no longer operating through its sensory channels deep relaxation, creativity, and wellness occur. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

My yoga offerings are obtainable and welcoming to all body shapes and abilities.

Yoga is not gender, race, sexual orientation, income, or age specific. Discrimination will never be tolerated.

In the spirit of dismantling discrimination in yoga and supporting our community, yoga meets are free.

Donations may be pooled to support agreed upon community fundraisers & non-profits.

"However beautifully we carry out an asana, however flexible our body may be, if we do not achieve the integration of body, breath, and mind we cannot claim that what we are doing is yoga."
