Grounded in Nature Yoga

Find your center in this seasonal outdoor class offering.

This is a peaceful summer experience that blends mindful breathing with my signature viniyoga based sequences to nurture both body and mind. Step outside, breathe deeply, and embrace the harmony of nature and mindful movement.

  • These classes are suitable for those who have the ability to sit and stand

  • Location will be announced the evening prior to the meet. The locations are in the local Taunton/Dighton areas. Spaces are limited.

  • I recommended that you bring: A yoga mat, a towel or sheet for under your mat, a folding chair if needed, yoga blocks and blanket if you like to have them, sunscreen/ insect repellent, water, and a convenient way to carry them. These items are available to borrow upon request.

  • Sign up's are required.

  • All meets are weather permitting. Cancellations will occur if: there is an extreme heat advisory, rainfall that makes for wet/soggy/dangerous soil or low enrollment.

Morning Harmony

In the morning, we tend to feel more refreshed and energized. This class helps set the tone for your day. The bright morning light will help to regulate circadian rhythm and boost focus for the day ahead. The cooler morning temperatures helps a summer practice feel more comfortable. Muscles and joints haven't fully loosened up yet, so this practice focuses on a longer warm-up period and gentle stretches. At this time you may hear more birdsong and notice increased animal activity.

Sunset Soothe

By evening, your body may feel more tired due to the day's activities. At days end we will explore an even gentler pace to unwind and relax. This class will serve as a way to unwind, relax, and release stress. As the afternoon summer heat begins to cool, this is an opportunity to reflect on the day and transition to a peaceful evening. Muscles and joints tend to be more flexible in the evening, so this class may incorporate deeper stretches. There is a calmness in nature when the sun begins to set. Different sounds are present, such as crickets & frogs, more human activity, or the evening breeze.
